Rùnimals - Malamute Games

Working as a Director I supervise the 3D Environment, 3D Character team as well as participate in narrative design. Using Click-up, a task tracking software, I manage the teams tasks and deadlines. Filling not only these rolls I work heavily within Unreal Engine 4 to create shaders, master materials and general rendering. Runimals is a property of Malamute Games and is still in production.

Stylized Water Shader

The water shader is fully adjustable and allows artists to change the surface ripples and their warp intensity. The ring foam around objects can have different banding and the colour for both shallow and deep water can be adjusted depending on the environment. The shader also implements Gerstner Waves with customizable direction, height and length.

XP-1 Hypercar - Hyperion

I worked with a team at Hyperion Motors communicating with a variety of departments assisting with the production of the vehicle. Providing creative insights, I offered my skills as a 3D artist specializing in VR work and texturing.

Fox Forest

I was a Teacher Assistant in the Junior Game Studio where students create a game from concept to publishing. I was the Team Manager, Project Lead, and Lead Lighter. I made sure everyone had tasks and made deadlines while also teaching Unreal Engine 4, Maya, and both Substance Painter and Substance Designer.

Space Ship

I was commissioned to create a crashed spaceship for the student film Amber an Alien by Jonah Stoppel. Modelled in Maya with inspiration from Sputnik and rocket turbines, it went through a brief texturing in Substance Painter where I played around with the programs Anchor system. I handed off the ship and ground to Stoppel who then composited it into his film.
